A pinup I did for the Shatterstar mini from Marvel, with my old pal Marat Mychaels. Colored the torso as grey leather, then was told it was skin, so that's why he's so shiny. Ultimately I didn't color the rest of the mini because of problems with the inker. Namely, there wasn't one, but I could just do digital inks for free, right?
"but I could just do digital inks for free, right?" There's a saying here, something like "Only a clock works for free". Too bad you didn't the rest of the series, but if you don't give value to your own work, who would?
Anyway, I can't decide which I liked more: the hair, the metal color of the sword or the gauntlet. Once again, great colors dude.

this is pretty sick, I loved Shatterstar when he was created, so they actually made a miniseries about him? Marat has improved so much from his days at Image, it's great to see this work!=]

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
